When food and fun collide

Here at Sodwana Bay Lodge, dining at our Leatherbacks Restaurant is about way more than just good food on a plate. Not only do we offer an upbeat ambience, but we’re agile and creative in adapting our food to the latest trends.

We believe in making dining a memorable experience with the quality of the food and of course the divine atmosphere. But what sets us apart is the ‘WOW’ customer service. It’s introducing ourselves at the table when taking an order. It’s checking back in three minutes after the food has been delivered to a table to see if everything is in order. It’s making sure drinks are refilled on a timely basis.

Sonically speaking, we keep the noise level to 65 decibels so that patrons can have a ‘normal conversation’.

Our wine list is geared to the menu and we have a very good selection. White wines are served cold and the red wines at about 12oC. The sommeliers are helpful rather than pushy.

With a carefully crafted menu, we focus on what our chef does best. At the same time, we cater for all tastes and food persuasions: from vegetarian through to pescatarian.

Above all we believe in good hospitality. And to us a truly great dining experience is when our guests’ needs are anticipated and met, resulting in 100 percent satisfaction. Thus we make every moment memorable.
